Racing Incident Report
Race Nine : (305) - D'AGUILAR PEAK HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 WONDER KIT (G455) L Ferraris After the event, L Ferraris reported that his mount slipped behind and as a result jumped very awkwardly, shifted out, made contact with GIANT LEAP and lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, WONDER KIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 3 FULL CREDIT (J185) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) K Teetan Bumped at the start.
Crowded near the 800 Metres.
After the event, K Teetan reported that after being crowed near the 800 Metres his mount did not travel well after that and raced "flat" in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 RISING FROM ASHES (G209) A Hamelin On jumping was crowded between SELF IMPROVEMENT and HAPPY UNITED which shifted out.
Horse No 7 HONG KONG HALL (G315) A Badel Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 HAPPY FAT CAT (G166) Y L Chung Near the 800 Metres was checked when crowded between SELF IMPROVEMENT which was taken out by MUST GO when that runner shifted out to avoid the heels of FULL CREDIT and HONG KONG HALL (A Badel) which shifted in.
A Badel was reprimanded.
Horse No 10 GIANT LEAP (J143) M F Poon Bumped at the start.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 11 MUST GO (J133) A Atzeni Near the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid FULL CREDIT.
Sent for sampling post-race.

Favourite Full Credit just scrambled in after moving to the lead 80m out for a fourth win and first on this surface. Must Go was closing with every stride to miss by a head after a rail run in midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen. Packing Bole grudgingly gave way after turning the final bend two lengths on top leading from gate eight. It was another cheeky performance. Rising From Ashes got going late for fourth without threatening the top three after making his run two from the rear. It was a pleasing effort. Giant Leap kept on all right after getting posted four wide without cover travelling in midfield from gate 10. Gummy Gummy made some ground late after a trip four wide with cover behind Giant Leap. He needed that run after a tendon injury in June. Happy United faded after tracking the speed from gate three. He's itching for a downgrade. Self Improvement never landed a blow from midfield. It was an out-of-character effort following a win and second in two prior starts.
