Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (319) - TAI MONG TSAI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 SUMMIT CHEERS (E221) P N Wong Shortly after the start made contact with DO YOUR PART due to both runners shifting ground.
In the early stages was taken in towards the inside rail when positioned to the inside of DO YOUR PART.
After the event, Apprentice P N Wong stated that in the middle stages she considered shifting her mount out to join the main body of the field, but when SUMMIT CHEERS was not travelling well enough she remained racing in the middle of the track to prevent SUMMIT CHEERS covering additional ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 MULTISUPER (G416) L Hewitson Lowered its head as the start was effected and as a result was slow to begin.
Near the 200 Metres was eased to avoid MACANESE MASTER which shifted out slightly.
Horse No 4 DO YOUR PART (J444) A Pouchin Shortly after the start made contact with SUMMIT CHEERS due to both runners shifting ground.
After the event, A Pouchin stated that from barrier 3 he elected to shift to the inside rail to ensure his mount was able to travel comfortably away from other runners.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 6 CIRCUIT JOLLY (J506) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 BEAUTY FORMULA (K066) A Badel Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 10 SUNNY Q (J223) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 250 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the inside of CLUB ACE.
Horse No 11 SHINY RAPIDASH (J492) A Atzeni Fractious in the barriers.
Jumped awkwardly.
Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Early favourite Circuit Jolly led on the grandstand side from gate seven and kept up a good gallop for a first win at his fourth start. Enjoy Golf was closing with every stride to finish a clear-cut second following a midfield run and three off the grandstand side from gate 10. It was a solid effort at his first go over the straight 1,000m. Alluring Laos stayed on well for third after sitting near the speed from gate six. It was another good effort following a debut win. Macanese Master ran on steadily sitting midfield from gate five to grab fourth at massive odds. It was his best effort from five local runs following a switch to the straight 1,000m and move to blinkers. Club Ace ran on steadily for fifth after travelling midfield in the centre of the track. It wasn't a bad effort when trying Sha Tin following a third on debut last month at the Valley. Sonic Pursuit made a mild bid after switching off heels for a clear run near the 200m from behind midfield. He's still a work in progress.
