Horse No 2 GRAND NOVA (J323) H Bowman Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out to the finish when positioned behind ALLURING LAOS.
Horse No 3 KA YING RESILIENCE (J439) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 ALLURING LAOS (J478) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 PRECIOUS HILL (J475) M L Yeung Crowded at the start.
Horse No 6 RISING PHOENIX (J498) B Avdulla Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
Raced greenly throughout the early and middle stages.
Near the 350 Metres blundered.
Horse No 7 SHINY RAPIDASH (J492) A Atzeni Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between SOLAR RIVER which shifted in and away from THOUSAND CUPS and SUPER SIXTY which was taken out by RISING PHOENIX.
Horse No 8 THOUSAND CUPS (J482) Y L Chung Bumped at the start.
When giving ground from the 300 Metres lay out and weakened from that point.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 SOLAR RIVER (J308) M F Poon Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Horse No 11 SUPER SIXTY (J071) A Badel Crowded shortly after the start.
Over the final 250 Metres lay in and proved difficult to ride out.
Horse No 12 DOUBLE BINGO (J309) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 13 FLYING DRAGON (E360) A Hamelin Jumped awkwardly.

Debutant Alluring Laos chased the speed near the grandstand side from gate 12 and reeled in favourite Ka Ying Resilience 60m out for the win. It was a smart effort after managing seconds in his final two of four trials. Ka Ying Resilience found one too good after dictating the run on the grandstand side from gate nine. It was a good run on his seasonal reappearance and he should be breaking through in no time. Flying Dragon stayed well for third setting near the speed in the middle of the course from gate eight. It was a better effort. Rising Phoenix ran on nicely on the stand side for fourth after making his run one from the rear. It was a nice debut performance. Grand Nova made some ground without ever looking a threat after switching off heels for a clear run 150m out from midfield. Fun Elite produced a grinding effort travelling on the far side in midfield from gate one. He had top weight and did appear to need the run first up off a 259-day injury-induced absence. Dan Attack just plodded from midfield near the stand side from gate 10. Super Sixty never landed a blow from behind midfield.
