Race Nine : (210) - CHEVALIER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 SAVVY BRILLIANT (J437) Z Purton Jumped only fairly and then was checked shortly after when crowded between RIGHTEOUS ARION which shifted out and SKY FOREVER which, after making contact with SWIFT ASCENT, was then taken in by that runner.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 LADY'S CHOICE (H155) K Teetan After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount did not appreciate racing to the inside of HAROLD WIN throughout the middle stags and did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 THE STORM (J126) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Before being allowed to race again, THE STORM will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 5 SWIFT ASCEND (H395) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 GAMEPLAYER ELITE (H356) H Bentley Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Raced keenly in the early stages.
Horse No 7 RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059) Y L Chung Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of SKY FOREVER to continue into clear running.
Near the 100 Metres was briefly held up before being shifted to the inside of AURORA LADY to again continue into clear running.
Horse No 10 ENDUED (K033) C Y Ho From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 11 HAROLD WIN (J280) A Atzeni Near the 300 Metres was bumped by SWIFT ASCEND which shifted in.
After the event, A Atzeni reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 SKY FOREVER (E414) M L Yeung Crowded at the start.
Approaching the first turn near the 900 Metres raced tight to the inside of LADY'S CHOICE.
A short distance later, SKY FOREVER was crowded when LADY'S CHOICE was taken in by HAROLD WIN which shifted in before being corrected by its rider A Atzeni.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Swift Ascend settled one off in midfield and quickened nicely to win going away 100m out for a second win, both for his new trainer this season. Savvy Brilliant ran on nicely to grab second after biding his time five back along the inside following his usual tardy start. It was another good run following back-to-back wins. Punted late Full Credit kept on well for third after copping pressure for the lead for the most part from Aurora Lady. He rarely produces a bad run over the Sha Tin 1,200m. Specked late Aurora Lady just held on for fourth after prompting the pace without cover from gate nine. He's given a decent sight in back-to-back runs in this grade following a Class Four win at the Valley. Endued ran on nicely to just miss the frame after making his run third last following a sluggish start. It was a good run on his Hong Kong debut. Sugar Ball ran on without threatening down the outside after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Harold Win failed to lift when push came to shove after peeling three wide coming to the final bend following a prominent run. He couldn't handle the rise in class.
