Horse No 1 MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065) K De Melo From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 2 E GLORY (H304) K C Leung Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Horse No 4 HARMONY N HOME (C531) M F Poon Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 HEARTY WISH (E343) H Bentley After the race, H Bentley reported that his mount was disadvantaged by racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 MAXIMIZE HEART (D311) A Atzeni After the race, A Atzeni reported that his mount was held up for clear running in the early part of the Home Straight but did not finish the race off strongly thereafter.

Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and approaching the 250 Metres where it shifted to the inside of SPEEDSTAR to obtain clear running.

Raced keenly in the middle stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.
Before being allowed to race again, EAGLE RUN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Harmony N Home dashed nicely to get up near the 100m after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield for a third career win at his 54th start. It was a long time between drinks, but he was a well-rated runner having his second start in Class Four. Perfect Peach ran on well for second after biding his time three from the rear. He keeps promising without delivering on a win line. Favourite Speedstar stayed on third best after a prominent run on the fence. He's returned to form to fill the frame in his past three starts and can break through at any moment. Jazz Club weakened in the run to the wire after briefly hitting the front 100m out following a speed-chasing role on the fence. He had no excuse. Specked late, Medic Elite finished well to share fourth after recovering from a slow start to travel behind midfield on the fence. It was another honest effort, but he is better suited over a mile trip.
