Racing Incident Report
Race One : (782) - RACING GOES ON 1000M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 4 SUPERSONIC (J192) B Thompson On jumping was crowded.
Near the 300 Metres was bumped by AMAZING FUN which shifted out slightly.
Horse No 5 AMAZING FUN (H442) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 COLOURFUL WINNER (J312) M L Yeung Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) K Teetan Near the 150 Metres lay out and was corrected by its rider.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 LOVING VIBES (J359) C Y Ho Slow to begin.
When commencing to finish the race off well lay out approaching the 100 Metres, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount.
Horse No 9 PERFECT GENERAL (J417) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.
Raced greenly under pressure over the final 400 Metres and lay in.
Horse No 10 SUPER TREASURE (J211) H T Mo A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) C L Chau Whilst entering the track C L Chau was dislodged from his mount without incident.
Near the 450 Metres became unbalanced when racing greenly and positioned to the outside of DRAGON AIR FORCE.
After the race, C L Chau reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a roarer Horse No 12 LESS IS MORE (H406) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.
Near the 400 Metres was disappointed for clear running between DRAGON AIR FORCE and AMAZING FUN.
Then remained held up for clear running behind DRAGON AIR FORCE until near the 150 Metres when hampered by DRAGON AIR FORCE which shifted out slightly.
Over the final 75 Metres could not be ridden out when held up behind CHEVAL VALIANT.
Horse No 13 SUPER AXIOM (E105) Y L Chung After the race, Y L Chung could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a roarer which had previously been reported.
Horse No SPICY KNUCKLES (H463) A Badel SPICY KNUCKLES, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 30.6.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).
Before being allowed to race again, SPICY KNUCKLES will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Amazing Fun quickened nicely from behind midfield to take control 50m out for a smart debut win. It was a solid training feat after having his preparation delayed by a tendon injury in December. Colourful Winner stayed on well after a midfield run in the centre of the course to win a blanket finish for second. He was able to build on a pleasing debut fifth last month. Cheval Valiant grudgingly gave way after driving to the lead from a middle draw. He is always a chance over the straight 1,000m. Favourite Dragon Air Force ran on steadily to just miss a placing after showing his greenness in the run from a handy spot. It was a positive debut performance and he should come on for this run. Perfect General made a decent bid to just miss the frame after making his run behind midfield near the far side from a low draw.
