Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (669) - RHONE HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Meters
Horse No 3 TO INFINITY (G277) Z Purton Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 MASTER OF LUCK (G276) B Avdulla Making the Home Turn was held up for clear running.
Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of RELIABLE PROFIT to obtain clear running.
Near the 200 Metres became held up between RELIABLE PROFIT and HAPPY HUNK which shifted out and as a result MASTER OF LUCK was unable to obtain clear running until near the 100 Metres.
Horse No 6 DRAGON DELIGHT (G395) E C W Wong After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that after being crossed by EAGLE RUN approaching the 1000 Metres, DRAGON DELIGHT travelled only fairly thereafter.
He added that, in his opinion, DRAGON DELIGHT may be better suited if it is able to race in the lead.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 BIG TWO (E310) H Bowman Bumped at the start by TO INFINITY which shifted out.
After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount travelled well during the running of the event.
He said after shifting out to a three wide position near the 600 Metres, he started to improve into the event, but making the Home Turn was bumped by EAGLE RUN when that runner shifted out to improve.
He added that once balanced in the Home Straight BIG TWO failed to respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Before being allowed to race again, BIG TWO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 9 HAPPIHOOD (H261) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly.
Raced wide and without cover throughout the early stages and was allowed to stride forward from the 800 Metres where it obtained a position outside the lead near the 550 Metres.

Horse No 12 MISTER ARM (D491) H T Mo Jumped awkwardly and then raced tight soon after the start.

After a patient ride in third last, To Infinity rushed to the lead near the 100m marker and won with plenty in hand. He relished a return to the level of two wins from four past starts. Happihood circled the field three wide to hit the front 300m out and kept on gamely for second. He had shown a bit more spark in two prior starts over the Valley 1,650m. Keen Unity ran on steadily along the inside for third after settling on the rail in midfield. he should find his mark soon in this grade. Reliable Profit kept on all right after a prominent run. It was a positive effort. Hang's Choice stayed on next best after settling one off the rail in midfield. He has been mixing his form. Yee Cheong Warrior made ground late without threatening from towards the rear. Well-backed Master Of Luck was all dressed up with nowhere to go near the inside over the last 250m with his bid from among the backmarkers. He should have finished a lot closer. Favourite Big Two never landed a blow after travelling one off the rail in better than midfield. it was a below-par effort.
