Lunar New Year is the beginning of a new year based on the lunar calendar. It is one of Hong Kong’s biggest festivals. All across the city, red lanterns, lion dances, markets, and prayers for good fortune can be seen. There are plenty of celebratory events throughout the city to start the Year of the Snake with joy and prosperity.
