Dear Young Post readers,

You are invited to a special screening of Ah Cheung: Wings of Hope (無拘飛祥), a documentary on the late Hong Kong disability rights advocate Willy Law Wai-cheung known as Ah Cheung.

Paralysed since birth, Law became a powerful voice, fighting for accessible transport, inclusive workplaces and a society that embraces everyone.

He was recognised as a 2013 Spirit of Hong Kong Award honoree for his dedication to building a better Hong Kong.

Executive produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Ruby Yang, the film incorporates beautiful animation by Macau’s Wong Weng-chon. It tells Law’s story alongside the history of Hong Kong’s disability rights movement from the 1960s to today.

The screening is part of a community outreach programme to continue Law’s dream of a more inclusive Hong Kong. We’re giving away free tickets to two sessions, each featuring a 52-minute film screening followed by a 30 to 40-minute discussion with the director and special guests.
