Recap by phillip woo

Favourite The Azure held off the late surge of Invincible Missile after racing to the lead 150m out for a first win. The downgrade worked the oracle after running well in two prior starts over this course and distance. Nine-year-old Invincible Missile came from last and widest out to just miss, but he's close to a win. Kasa Papa ran on nicely to win a battle for third after making his run from second last following a slow start. He can bob up at any moment in this grade. Manythanks Forever grudgingly gave way after moving to the lead 250m out settling one off the raill with cover in third. He has shown progress this season for his new trainer. Cool Blue ran on nicely for fifth after switching off heels 250m out following a patient ride three from the rear. He has gone to the line well with a step up to the Valley 1,650m in his past two starts. Winning Seven made a good bid late near the outside after biding his time two from the rear. He does appear from his past three runs to be close to a bottom. Superb Move had his chance but only plodded after settling one off the rail in midfield. He's beyond his better days.
