Horse No 1 MIGHTY STRIDE (G346) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 HONG KONG HALL (G315) P N Wong After the race, Apprentice P N Wong explained that from a wide barrier she had to make considerable use of her mount in the early stages to cross and obtain the lead.
She said after this HONG KONG HALL had a tendency to over-race and subsequently failed to finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 MAGNIAC (H141) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 6 LADY'S CHOICE (H155) K Teetan Made the turn near the 900 Metres awkwardly.

Horse No 8 KING OF DUBAI (J433) L Hewitson Held up from the 400 Metres behind HONG KONG HALL and then after passing the 300 Metres was checked and shifted out abruptly in an effort to obtain clear running and to avoid the heels of HONG KONG HALL which was commencing to give ground.

Horse No 11 MOJAVE DESERT (J330) K C Leung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 13 SKY FOREVER (E414) M L Yeung Held up for clear running passing the 200 Metres and then near the 100 Metres was shifted out abruptly when a run between DIVANO and YOUNG SUPERSTAR commenced to close.

Lady's Choice cruised to the lead 300m out following a pace-stalking run one off the fence behind Hong Kong Hall and just held off Mighty Stride for a third career win over the Sha Tin 1,200m. It was a good training feat following knee surgery. Mighty Stride finished willingly through the middle after biding his time three from the rear to make it close on the wire following a downgrade. It was a huge run. Favourite Divano ran on well to finish a close third after a one-off trip from midfield. He lost nothing in defeat and should come on from the first up effort. Sky Forever wove along the inside for fourth after settling towards the rear. He can produce a good run now and then. Young Superstar just held his ground after a prominent run. It was a better effort at his third start this term. Must Go came up one paced over the last 100m with his move from better than midfield. He is more effective on dirt. King Of Dubai whacked away one paced after peeling off heels for a run 250m out following a box-seat run.
