Racing Incident Report
Race Eight : (82) - PAK TAM AU HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 RUN RUN TIMING (H403) H Bentley Crowded for room on jumping between EXUBERANT and WINNING TURN which shifted out at the start.
After the race, H Bentley reported that as a result of this incident his mount got further back in the field than was planned.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 SUGAR BALL (H394) Z Purton Had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Home Straight.
Horse No 3 EXUBERANT (E282) C L Chau Near the 900 Metres was crowded for room by SKY TRUST which had improved to the inside of the heels of MILES AWAY which had already established a position one-off the fence in front of SKY TRUST.
In all the circumstances, the Stewards were satisfied that there was no carelessness involved by any rider and therefore no further action was taken.
Passing the 400 Metres, when laying in, was steadied and shifted in and away from the heels of MILES AWAY and in doing so resulted in LUCKY FIONN shifting out, inconveniencing the running of MAJESTIC COLOUR.
Horse No 4 MAJESTIC COLOUR (H124) L Hewitson Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 5 SKY TRUST (J161) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 ONLY U (J037) K C Leung Inside the 400 Metres was shifted out abruptly to avoid the heels of MAJESTIC COLOUR.

Favourite Sky Trust was too smart after moving to the lead 250m out following a well-executed ride to find the box seat 700m out from gate nine for a second win from his past three starts and first up following throat surgery. Punted late Lucky Fionn ran on well for second after getting posted wide without cover from better than midfield. It was a good performance following a stable change. Sugar Ball got going late for third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He continues to hold his form carrying a share of top weight following a win. Only U made headway late for fourth after making his run five back and three wide with cover from an outside draw. He can bob up at any moment after coming away fourth best in three of his past four runs. Specked late Sunday's Serenade made some ground late near the inside after settling behind midfield on the fence following a tardy start. It was a better effort following a troubled 10th last month over a shorter 1,200m trip. Majestic Colour only plodded after a wide trip from midfield.
