Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Our Lucky Glory took control 50m out near the inside after settling one off the rail behind midfield for a second career win and first from seven starts this term. He's run very well in his past two of three starts following a stable change. Punted late, King Eccellente found one too good after going for home 150m out after a prominent run wide without cover under a 10-pound apprentice. It was another solid effort following a last-start win. Well-backed So Awesome ran on well for third after travelling one off the fence in midfield. He's run well to place third in two of his past three runs over the Valley 1,200m. Cheer For South kept on one-paced for fourth after chasing the leading pair from gate five. He went OK. Talents Supremo got going late to finish next best after biding his time third last from gate 10. He continues to finish around the mark in his past five starts. Country Dancer made late headway after settling second last from gate 12. He wasn't good enough to offset a wide draw. Happy Soul produced only a mild bid from behind midfield. He couldn't lift carrying eight pounds more following a win.
