Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (535) - LOK FU HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 RUN RUN COOL (E322) H Bowman Bumped on the hindquarters heavily shortly after the start when positioned tight to the inside of GOLDEN LUCK which shifted in.
Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of GLORY B and approaching the winning post was steadied when crowded by GLORY B (K De Melo).
K De Melo was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 2 GOLDEN LUCK (H159) L Hewitson After the race, L Hewitson stated that GOLDEN LUCK was advantaged at its last start by being able to hold the lead without being pressured, but tonight was not able to hold the lead and consequently did not finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 RAGNARR (H297) C L Chau Making the first run got its head up and lay out and was steadied to avoid YODA'S CHOICE.
Horse No 4 SUPERB WITNESS (H467) A Atzeni From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn after the 1000 Metres ran wide when racing greenly.
Horse No 5 YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176) A Hamelin Jumped only fairly, shifted out and made heavy contact with the hindquarters of RUN RUN COOL.
Horse No 6 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) K Teetan After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount raced greenly under pressure which restricted his ability in riding it out fully in the Home Straight.
Horse No 7 GLORY B (H373) K De Melo Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped.
After the 150 Metres was shifted to the inside of COLONEL to obtain clear running and then raced tight to the inside of COLONEL for some distance thereafter.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 LUCKY QUALITY (D050) K H Chan Bumped near the 300 Metres.
Horse No 9 HERCULES (C476) A Badel Bumped at the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 WINNING HEART (H065) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 ALLOY KING (D287) M L Yeung After the 400 Metres was awkwardly placed close to RAGNARR and shifted out and made contact with LUCKY QUALITY near the 300 Metres.
After the race, M L Yeung stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages to avoid racing wide.
Trainer K H Ting confirmed the instructions issued.

Favourite Winning Heart responded nicely to win after settling a distant fourth from gate one. It was his first win at start 13 starts but he was able to back up a rallying fourth last start. Outsider Glory B worked home nicely near the inside to grab second 50m out after settling on the rail in midfield. It was clearly his best run from four starts with cheekpieces added. Run Run Cool ran on well for third after a patient ride in third last. He relished the downgrade. Lucky Quality made good ground down the outside to snatch fourth after settling one off the rail behind midfield. He keeps promising without winning this season. Yoda's Choice plugged on to finish next best after chasing the leading pair near the inside. He's still learning the ropes. Ragnarr whacked on one-paced from better than midfield. He's limited. Punted late, Colonel had little left in the tank over the final 100m after getting hounded for the lead by Golden Luck to his outside. He had an excuse. Golden Luck was gone near the 100m after prompting the pace from a wide draw. He couldn't offset a rise in weight following a win.
