Race Nine : (341) - TIN SHUI WAI HANDICAP - Class 3R - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 ELLIPTICAL (J052) H Bowman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 2 CHANCHENG GLORY (H212) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 SPEED DRAGON (H380) C Y Ho Jumped only fairly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 800 Metres was steadied away from STAR MAC.
Making the Home Turn was held up behind HAKKA RADIANCE.
On straightening was shifted to the outside of HAKKA RADIANCE to secure clear running.
Approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind KA YING GENERATION and then did not obtain clear running until approaching the 150 Metres when it shifted to the inside of KA YING GENERATION.
Horse No 4 KA YING GENERATION (J075) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly and was bumped.
Horse No 5 SIMPLE HEDGE (H237) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 HAKKA RADIANCE (J105) K De Melo Slow to begin.
Horse No 10 EIGHTEEN CARAT (J104) A Hamelin Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 800 Metres was taken wider when CHANCHENG GLORY shifted out.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 FALLON (H219) M L Yeung In the early stages raced keenly when being steadied to obtain cover.
Continued to race keenly in the middle stages.
Over the final 200 Metres lay out.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 NOT A FEW (J109) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 13 STAR MAC (J053) K C Leung Slow to begin.
After the 900 Metres was steadied and became unbalanced when briefly racing tight to the inside of GOLDEN ARTIE.
Approaching the 400 Metres was briefly held up behind EIGHTEEN CARAT.
Horse No 14 WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419) H T Mo Bumped at the start.

Fallon showed a good turn of foot with two wider out to overhaul Simple Hedge 50m out for the win following a patient ride two from the rear. He proved an upset win wearing blinkers last start was not a fluke despite a rise in class. Simple Hedge found one too good after poking his head in front 100m out following a wide with cover trip from midfield. He's building towards a win. Golden Artie ran on well after a one-off trip from behind midfield for third. It was another honest effort. Chancheng Glory ended fourth after poking his head in front 150m out after prompting the pace three wide with cover. It was another good run after winning four on the bounce. Speed Dragon was badly held up until the last 100m and should have finished closer following a patient ride one from the rear. Plunged late Beauty Missile was stopping 100m out after rushing to the front 950m out. He continues to disappoint this term. Punted late Star Mac produced a ducking- and-weaving run to finish next best after travelling two from the rear.
