Race Four : (254) - LUKFOOK JEWELLERY LOVE IS BEAUTY COLLECTION HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters
Horse No 1 CLASSIC ARCHI (G295) L Ferraris After the race, L Ferraris stated that after shifting behind JOYFUL CHAMPION in the early stages, his mount was then obliged to race further back when JOYFUL CHAMPION was steadied to obtain cover behind COLOURFUL BARON and as a result he settled further back than what he had intended.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 TURTLE AGAIN (H083) K C Leung Lay out on the Home Turn.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 HAPPY HERO (G322) J McDonald Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 COPARTNER ERA (C534) K Teetan Leaving the 400 Metres, K Teetan dropped his right rein for a short distance.
After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount was off the bit throughout the event and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 GOLD STERLING (H032) A Badel Jumped only fairly.
After the race, A Badel stated that over the final 200 Metres his mount weakened badly and as a consequence he eased it down over the concluding stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of GOLD STERLING, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, GOLD STERLING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 6 FAITHFUL TRINITY (A247) K De Melo The performance of FAITHFUL TRINITY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Horse No 10 JOYFUL CHAMPION (G072) H T Mo Shortly after the start raced tight to the inside of CLASSIC ARCHI.
Leaving the 500 Metres was awkwardly placed on the heels of TURTLE AGAIN for a short distance.
Horse No 11 GREEN LASER (E409) A Atzeni Slow to begin and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 13 GOLDEN FAIRY (E448) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly and shifted out.

Well-backed late, Colourful Baron just got the better of favourite Turtle Again after hitting the front near the 100m following a handy run between runners to ring up a first win at his 21st local start. Turtle Again found one too good after claiming the lead underneath the 200m following a wide with cover run from behind midfield. It was another good effort. Diamond Winner dashed well to fill a placing after settling second last from the widest draw. He lived up to a surprise third last start over the Valley 1,800m. Plunged late, Golden Fairy gave a better sight for fourth after a box seat run. Joyful Champion made headway late for fifth travelling one off from behind midfield after a sluggish start. He needs a stronger rider. Loyal Ambition produced a grinding effort after a one-off trip from midfield. He's not easy to get right. Smart Beauty weakened over the last 100m after surging to the lead 1,400m out. He's limited. Happy Hero only plodded after chasing the speed three wide without cover.
