Horse No 1 OUTGATE (H113) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 SMOKEY BEAR (E126) K De Melo After the race, K De Melo stated that his mount, in his opinion, did not appreciate carrying the extra weight in today's event and as a result finished the race off in a one-paced manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, SMOKEY BEAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 4 CALL ME DANDY (G469) C Y Ho Bumped at the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 MARK THE MOMENT (H088) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly and shifted out.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 7 TORONADO PHANTOM (E300) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 SPORTS LEGEND (H456) K Teetan After the race, K Teetan reported that after obtaining the lead SPORTS LEGEND failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was most disappointing.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 AMAZING DUCK (H392) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 SKY FOREVER (E414) K C Leung Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start by MARK THE MOMENT.
For some distance near the 600 Metres was awkwardly placed behind GOOD BUDDY.
Horse No 12 HAPPY FAT CAT (G166) H T Mo Jumped awkwardly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of HAPPY FAT CAT which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY FAT CAT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Toronado Phantom came from last ridden for luck from gate 12 to run down late-fancied Call Me Dandy for an overdue win after filling the frame in his past five of seven on the turf surface this season. Call Me Dandy did everything right but get the win after surging to the lead near the 200m tracking the leading pair one off the fence. It was a good run trying the dirt for the first time. Viva Chaleur stuck on all right for third after a handy run wide with cover. Like the latter, it was a better effort trying the dirt for the first time. Good Buddy ran on late to fill the frame after biding his time three from the rear. It was a positive effort at his initial run on the surface. Mark The Moment weakened over the last 100m after poking his head in front under the 300m following a speed-tracking run outside Sports Legend. He's needed both starts this term. Sky Forever made good ground late settling second last after getting impeded at the jump. He went okay first up off a lengthy injury-induced absence.
