Recap by phillip woo
Ivictory kept on gamely after hitting the front 250m out tracking the speed to notch a seventh win from eight starts despite a huge leap up in class and the scary thing for opponents is that he's got more improvement to come. Mr Stunning was closing the gap with each stride following a prominent run to grab second. He's had a fabulous campaign and remains a top sprinter. Favourite Beat The Clock finished well travelling third from the rear to finish a close third and cap a 1-2-3 sweep by the stable. He lost nothing in defeat on a biased-for-speed track. Japanese invader Fine Needle ran on a non-threatening fourth travelling midfield on the fence. Lucky Bubbles ran on without menacing from beyond midfield. He's beyond his better days. Age has gotten better of Peniaphobia as well who faltered inside the last 150m out after getting softened in front by Blue Point. Specked late Amazing Kids never mounted a challenge sitting one from the back.
