Specked late Right Call kept finding after being nicely rated leading from gate 12 to notch a second win with a step back up to 1,400m from his past three starts. Post-time favourite Go Beauty Go wore down Volitation for second following a box-seat run. The mile suits him better. Volitation grudgingly gave way after stalking the leader from gate 13. He rarely runs a bad race over this trip. Intrepic finished well near the outside after travelling fourth from the rear. He's shown sparks in his past two starts and can pop up at any time. Nitro Express made some ground without menacing travelling beyond midfield near the inside. It was an encouraging debut from Gino Severini who made ground travelling outside Nitro Express in the run. He appears to have a future going forward and requires a longer trip. Early favourite Royal Mojito disappointed after rushing forward to sit three deep without cover in third at the 750m. The race wasn't run to suit.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (604) - AUDEMARS PIGUET LADY ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

As the start was effected, ALL GREAT FRIENDS, which was fractious in the barriers, got its head down and consequently was slow to begin.

Before being allowed to race again, ALL GREAT FRIENDS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.

INTREPIC shifted in at the start and bumped WINSTON'S LAD.

From the outside barrier, MAGIC POWER was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

For a considerable distance after the 1200 Metres, ALL GREAT FRIENDS proved very difficult to settle and got its head up repeatedly when racing ungenerously.

For some distance approaching and passing the 1000 Metres, MAGIC POWER had to be checked away from the heels of NITRO EXPRESS when proving very difficult to settle.

In the early stages, ROYAL MOJITO travelled very wide and without cover and passing the 900 Metres was allowed to improve into a more prominent position, however, continued to race wide and without cover.

Passing the 900 Metres, GINO SEVERINI was awkwardly placed close to the heels of POSITIVELY HIGH.

INTREPIC, which was following GINO SEVERINI, was steadied away from the heels of that horse.

MAGIC POWER, which was following INTREPIC and continuing to prove very difficult to settle, was checked away from the heels of that horse in consequence.

In the Straight, MULTI FACETS hung in and proved very difficult to ride, resulting in its rider, B Prebble, having to stop riding and straighten his mount on a number of occasions.

WINSTON'S LAD, which was racing inside MULTI FACETS, was hampered when that horse shifted in near the 200 Metres.

Then approaching the 100 Metres, WINSTON'S LAD was again hampered when taken in by MULTI FACETS, resulting in WINSTON'S LAD bumping ROYAL MOJITO which in turn shifted in and inconvenienced NITRO EXPRESS.

A veterinary inspection of STARSHIP immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.

RIGHT CALL and GO BEAUTY GO were sent for sampling.
