Course Overview

YP Journalism Academy* is an intensive 8-day course designed for students aged from 13 to 16 to boost their English skills by learning different types of journalistic writing.  Students will get hands-on experience of what it’s like to work in a newsroom from the professionals and receive a certificate upon course completion.

The skills on this course cover a wide range of media, from writing news to features, how to find good stories and how to network to get reliable information. Boost your listening, oral and writing skills that will make English - and even liberal studies exams a breeze.

If you are an existing member of Young Post's Junior Reporters' Club, you will enjoy a 10% off the course fee. Students who had no prior journalism knowledge are also welcome to join.

About The Junior Reporters Club

The Junior Reporters Club is a free programme run by Young Post for students aged 11 and older  who aspire to be a frontline reporters, hard-hitting columnists or respected film critics. Members learn about the art of reporting for print, on video and live from professional journalists and take part in workshops about essential skills such as photography, live reporting and interviewing basics.
