This season’s winner is …
This season’s winner is Lotus, whose real name is Krista Chan, from the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. After nine creative and challenging rounds, the 13-year-old captured Young Post readers with her insightful answers and engaging writing.
Krista focused mainly on environmental and mental health issues throughout the competition. In one round, she introduced a new emotion, “ecoality”, an uplifting feeling of unity and belonging with nature. In the final round, the contestant reminded people to learn to find the right mental balance with the help of celebrities as ambassadors to build an inclusive and harmonious society. Her reflective and down-to-earth responses deeply resonated with readers and won their hearts.
Congratulations to the first and second runners-up: Jasmine, Hannah Kwok Yan-wing from St. Paul’s Convent School (Secondary Section), and Lily, Kevin Chan Sung Kei from Sheng Kung Hui Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School.
