The Joint University Programmes Admissions System (Jupas) announced Rechecking and Remarking results for the post-HKDSE university applications for this year’s cohort of secondary school graduates will be released on 27 August at 9am.

Students will be able to check the results of remarking and see if they have received better offers on their Jupas accounts. The Jupas office reminds students they will receive only one improved offer, and that they must log into the Jupas system to confirm their acceptance by 5pm on the day they are released.

How much does it really cost to study abroad?

According to statistics provided by the office, it received a total of 262 applications, among which 162 were successful and 100 were not. In particular, 15 students who did not receive main round offers now have degree offers from either University Grants Commission-funded degree places or Open University.

Those students who have received better offers will have their original ones withdrawn in favour of their preferred one. The acceptance fee will also be directly transferred to the new programme once students confirm their acceptance.

Students can find more information on the Jupas website and ask questions using the Jupas office 24-hour interactive voice response system phone line at 2334 2330, their hotlines at 2344 2929 and 2233 2929, or by email at [email protected].
