Three days ahead of the release of her debut solo album, -R-, on Friday, Blackpink’s Rosé shared a teaser for her first single.
Titled On the Ground, the video features the 24-year-old (25 in Korean ages), sporting waist-length blond hair, walking out of an old-school cinema. Acoustic guitar chords play as the cameras swirl around her, before the New Zealand-born star sings “Everything I need is on the ground”.
The video had 5.2 million views within its first 15 hours on the site.
Blackpink’s online concert, The Show, was everything Blinks hoped for
This is the singer’s second teaser for her upcoming release. The first currently has 13 million views. The videos came out two days apart on YouTube, on March 7 and 9 – could there be a third the day before the album drops on March 12?
