Presented by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, West Kowloon’s Christmas display is a celebration of joy and festivity. Its towering tree, surrounded by whimsical decorations, creates a magical atmosphere, further enhanced by the Victoria Harbour in the backdrop. The harbourfront pyrotechnics at 8pm between December 24 and 26 add to the excitement. The proximity to Freespace, Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+ ensures there is always something to look forward to.

Wedding Card Street is beautifully decked out this year with Christmas light decorations inspired by traditional Belgian lace and an eight-metre-high bauble-covered tree. Additional Christmas trees and giant hanging wreaths along the pedestrian walkway create a picturesque European-style town backdrop, perfect for your holiday photos. Don’t miss the artificial snow show at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm on Fridays, weekends and public holidays.

Harbour City’s display is stunning every year, and this year is no different. The Big Little Christmas is a large-scale outdoor installation by renowned Japanese miniature photographer and artist Tatsuya Tanaka. It features five enlarged miniature works, a cabin crafted from books, a 10-metre tree shaped like a Santa Claus hat and more. The highlight is the eight-metre-high wooden Advent calendar by the main staircase, and the shimmering silver trees make for a nice photo.

ChristmasVille at Pacific Place showcases oversized furry creatures that vow to be friendly giants. The displays are distributed throughout different levels of the mall. You will discover The Grand Weaver crafting with yarn balls surrounding him. Also on display are irate fuzzballs, snug beings, holiday trees and Santa’s workshop. You will come across picture-perfect spots that seem as if they came from a fairy tale.

A small but beautiful display, Times Square has transformed into a snowy pink Blackpink-themed Christmas village to celebrate the launch of a new game. In addition to the pop-up on the second floor, the open piazza on the ground floor has a romantic Christmas tree made of lit-up pink and chrome hearts, a retro-style train carriage, a record store installation with vinyl-shaped windows, a phone booth and mirrors – for all your selfies.

Langham Place has collaborated with international artist Nina Dzyvulska for its wonderland display, with vibrant large-scale installations of Dzyvulska’s love-themed characters. We especially like the Christmas tree on the way to the food court, with eyes that move as it watches its surroundings. You can emboss a personalised badge with Mong Kok illustrations by Dzyvulska upon spending HK$300 at up to two of the mall’s stores on the same day.
