'Fall Guys' Season 2 will have a medieval theme.

Medieval is the new meta in the latest update to wildly popular obstacle course party game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, where you play as a clumsy bean avatar with a weirdly expansive wardrobe.

October 8 is the launch date for the new season, which will be themed on the middle ages with fantasy elements, so you’ll be able to dress up as a knight, a wizard, a dragon and more. There will also be new stages and fun new obstacles.

One of the most talked about new hazards is the Thicc Bonkus, a huge swinging spiked roller obstacle that will knock you off the platform and into the abyss. Be sure to stay away from this big boi as you make your way through Knight Fever, one of the new stages to be revealed.

New stages and customisation options, such as nameplates and banners are coming as well, so you can have even more fun making your avatar unique.

And that’s not all.

Because many players have still not gotten all the free rewards from the Season 1 Battle Pass yet, developer Mediatonic has announced you will get double the usual FAME points from now until Season 2 officially starts on October 8th.

Adding to some quality of life improvements are the ability to queue into games with your friends and the ability to completely randomise your costume if you don’t want to curate a new look by yourself.

Check out our guide to the best tips and tricks to help you be the last player standing and grab that elusive crown here.

Keep your eyes on the Fall Guys official Twitter account throughout the day for more reveals, and get that fame, bean baby!
