Calling all writers and photographers! Submit to our Creative Sparks column with this round’s theme, ‘Leaving’
- All Hong Kong secondary students are eligible to submit to this quarterly column; winners will be published in Monday editions of Young Post
- As the end of the school year approaches, we want you to share pictures related to the theme ‘Leaving’
As students across Hong Kong bunker down for exams, inching closer to the end of the school year, we want the next edition of Creative Sparks – Young Post’s quarterly creativity column – to be an escape from the stress of studying.
With summer approaching, we hope you can take a break from staring at piles of assignments and observe the world around you. Grab your smartphone or another camera, and snap a photo of something that reminds you of our next theme: leaving.
It’s the end of the school year, so plenty of people are leaving your everyday life for a while. Or you could think about our prompt a bit more figuratively – what are the little moments that are always leaving us? Maybe you’re the one who is leaving something behind: bad memories, a toxic relationship, unhealthy work habits, or a pursuit that you don’t have time for any more.
We are looking forward to see what photos you submit as we wrap up the school year and get ready for summer.
