Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Stunning Peach quickened nicely with one wider out to take control 150m out after a one-off trip from midfield for a first local win at his third local start. The three-yearold has a bright future going forward over 1,800m and further. Universal Horizon ran on well to get up in deep stretch for second after a rail run from midfield. He tends to mix his form but was on his A-game yesterday. Punted late Samarkand found a couple too good after a prominent run on the fence. He's done a good job this campaign. Longshot Beauty Live ran on nicely near the inside to inject some value in the quartet after settling second last from gate 12. It was one of his better runs from 10 starts this term. Flagship Warrior weakened late to finish next best after sliding forward three wide to lead near the 900m from a tricky gate. It was another honest effort after misfiring last time out with a heart irregularity. Supreme Agility ran on steadily after a rail run from behind midfield. He has gone okay in both local starts but seems to want an even further trip.
