Recap by phillip woo

Noble Win quickened nicely down the outside to overhaul My Intelligent in the closing stages after a patient ride wide towards the rear. It was his first win at his 20th start. Favourite My Intelligent did everything right but could not get the win after assuming the lead from long-time leader Beat Hollow near the 200m marker. He continues to race well. Hearty Wish ran on well through the middle for third after making his run four from the rear. It was his best performance from seven starts this term. Jazz Club settled on the rail behind midfield and should have finished closer after getting held up for a run until the 100m marker. Right Honourable finished next best but got badly held up along the inside until the last 100m after turning the final bend four from the rear. Dragon Delight kept on one-paced after settling wide with cover in better than midfield. Super Joy made up heaps of ground after rearing at the start. The Concentration was held up for the majority of the straight after travelling on the rail in midfield.
