After cruising to the lead near the 200m following a handy run carrying top weight, favourite King Miles kept on gamely for a second win from five starts. He will be in a richer grade next start but the three-year-old does appear to have room for further improvement. The well-backed All Riches wouldn't go down without a fight after dictating the run from gate eight. The gear change nearly worked the oracle. Yee Cheong Raider ran on nicely to finish a close third after a rails run from behind midfield. He proved a runner-up result at $189 last start was not a fluke. Storm Legend ran on steadily for fourth after a rails run from midfield. It was one of his better performances from 11 runs this term. D Star made headway late for fifth after a patient ride three from the rear along the inside. It was a better effort on recent runs. Fight Time was doing some decent work late after making his run at the rear from gate 13. Speedy Chariot ran on without threatening after travelling five back and one off the fence. He's more effective at the Valley. Young Horizon found nothing after a box seat run.

Race Five : (716) - TOLO HARBOUR HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters

Horse No 1 KING MILES (J158) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 2 LEEDOX (J154) H Bowman H Bowman was fined the sum of $2,000 for failing to present himself in the Parade Ring by the required time.

Bumped at the start and from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out, resulting in its rider H Bowman pulling his whip through to his right hand approaching the 150 Metres.

Horse No 3 STORM LEGEND (G139) K H Chan Shifted out at the start and was bumped.

From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Horse No 5 CONFRINGO (J322) C L Chau Blundered on jumping and shortly after the start was crowded by YEE CHEONG RAIDER which was taken in by ALL RICHES.

Horse No 6 MIU FA FA (J145) K C Leung Shifted in at the start and was bumped.

After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount raced keenly outside the leader ALL RICHES and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 7 CURRAHEE (J204) L Ferraris L Ferraris was fined the sum of $2,000 for failing to present himself in the Parade Ring by the required time.

Shortly after the start was bumped by STORM LEGEND which shifted out.

Horse No 8 IMPERIAL MAGEE (E460) H Bentley After the race, H Bentley reported that when he felt that there was something amiss with his mount in the Home Straight and when not in a competitive position, he eased it down from the event.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.

Before being allowed to race again, IMPERIAL MAGEE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 10 FAST AS ROCKET (H375) L Hewitson Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 11 ALL RICHES (G060) A Hamelin Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 12 FIGHT TIME (H409) A Badel Bumped at the start and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 13 YOUNG HORIZON (G272) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its barrier.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 14 SPEEDY CHARIOT (H193) A Atzeni On jumping was bumped by MIU FA FA which shifted in and away from FAST AS ROCKET despite the efforts of its rider.
