Horse No 1 SUPER SUNNY SING (G319) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 3 HAPPY TOGETHER (G446) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 RUNNING GLORY (G010) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 CHAMPION DRAGON (G070) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 LA CITY BLANCHE (G371) Y L Chung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 RISING FROM ASHES (G209) K De Melo Near the 100 Metres K De Melo dropped his whip.
As this was the third occasion this season that Jockey De Melo had dropped his whip, he was issued with a warning.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 10 ALACRITY (H210) Z Purton After the race, Z Purton could offer no excuse for his mount's failure to finish the race off strongly.

Horse No 11 THE BEST PEACH (H139) K Teetan From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
For some distance after the 400 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SUPER SUNNY SING.
Horse No 12 C P BRAVE (E306) H Bentley Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of SWEET ENCOUNTER to continue into clear running.

Happy Together came with a perfectly timed run to overhaul long-time leader Champion Dragon after a rails run from midfield for a fifth win across both tracks from nine starts. Champion Dragon lost nothing in defeat after working forward very wide to lead from gate 13. He has honest 1,800m form at Sha Tin. Five G Patch ran on nicely to finish a close third after a patient ride fourth last. He continues to race well without winning. Punted late Sweet Encounter kept on reasonably well after a pace-stalking run from gate 10. He's holding his condition well in his past three starts. The Best Peach motored late down the outside for fifth ridden cold at the rear from gate 14. He rarely produces a bad run. C P Brave whacked on one paced after a prominent run on the fence. He's more effective ridden quieter in the run. Natural Storm was next best after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield. Favourite Alacrity found little when asked for an effort after a one-off trip from just behind midfield. He's gone better on the dirt than turf this season.
