Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (39) - LEI MUK SHUE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
BRAVE POWER began very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of FABULOUS EIGHT.
ALL THE WAY began only fairly.
CARRY THE DIAMOND began awkwardly.
Over the concluding stages, UNITED WE STAND raced tight outside FABULOUS EIGHT.
A veterinary inspection of REGENCY POET and TINKER BELLE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
FABULOUS EIGHT and UNITED WE STAND were sent for sampling.

Fabulous Eight took control 350m out after tracking the leader and favourite United We Stand for the win despite carrying top weight. He's a trip specialist and didn't have to beat much. United We Stand kept on gamely for second after setting a good pace on the stands side from a wide gate. He's run well in back-to-back runs with a return to Class Four this season. Goko just wore down Valiant Elegance for third following a handy run near the far side. Age appears to be getting the better of him but he's always a chance over this trip. Valiant Elegance weakened inside the last 150m after chasing the speed. It was a bad effort following throat surgery at only his second career run. Carry The Diamond made some ground without menacing from behind midfield on the far side. He's shown potential in his two starts but will need more time and longer sprint trip. Regency Poet came up flat travelling better than midfield. He's more effective over the 1,200m.
