Recap by phillip woo
Touch Of Luck fended off Clear Choice after working to the lead 150m out following a dream run for a third win and first at his third start in the grade. Clear Choice found one just too good after settling one-out, one-back in the run. He's as honest as the day is long over this dirt trip. Plunged late Unite Spirit finished nicely one from the right after cornering one from the back to fill a placing. He did put the writing on the wall last time out. Well-backed late Great Treasure came from last and widest out to snatch fourth. He rarely produces a bad run on either surface. Gameplayer Times poked his head through late between runners from near the back to pick up a cheque. California Argent was stopping 100m out after reclaiming the lead from Handsome Bo Bo rounding the final bend. He didn't get the soft run he wanted. Favourite London Luckystar had little left in the tank 200m out after a wide and without cover run in midfield. He had an excuse.
