Racing Incident Report
Race Nine : (174) - PANASONIC 2-IN-1 WASHER DRYER HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 SOLID IMPACT (E447) P N Wong After the event, Apprentice P N Wong reported that she was instructed to take up a forward position.
She said after riding her mount along in the early stages she was unable to cross runners to her inside, resulting in SOLID IMPACT racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Trainer D J Hall confirmed the instructions issued.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 AERIS NOVA (J534) K C Leung From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind SOLID IMPACT.
Horse No 4 SAVVY BRILLIANT (J437) Z Purton Jumped awkwardly, got is head up and lost ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 CAPTAIN WIN (E466) C Y Ho Near the 900 Metres was bumped by HE WAS ME which shifted in.
For some distance after the 400 Metres was held up for clear running.
Near the 250 Metres was then disappointed for clear running between ENTERPRISE ATTACK and BLESSED NATION and was shifted to the outside of BLESSED NATION to secure clear running.
Horse No 7 STORM RIDER (J027) K Teetan Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping.
Horse No 8 ENTERPRISE ATTACK (H340) A Hamelin Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 9 CELESTIAL HARMONY (K059) E C W Wong From the outside barrier shifted out on jumping and lost ground.
Horse No 11 HE WAS ME (J535) Y L Chung Shifted in near the 900 Metres and was bumped.
Horse No 12 SUPER INFINITY (J320) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 FLYING FORTRESS (J445) M Chadwick Over the final 200 Metres lay in.
Horse No 14 MAGNIFICENT NINE (H433) A Badel Jumped only fairly.
For a short distance near the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving to the inside of SUPER INFINITY.
Approaching the 100 Metres became held up for clear running when disappointed between FLYING FORTRESS and SUPER INFINITY and then shifted to the outside of SUPER INFINITY to obtain clear running.

Favourite Savvy Brilliant showed a good turn of foot down the outside to get up in the concluding stages after an awkward start to make it two wins on the trot from three local starts. Super Infinity ran on well near the inside to finish a close second saving ground from behind midfield. He's very close to a win at this level. Punted late, Storm Rider found a couple just too smart after poking his head in front 50m out from midfield. It was an improved performance from a better draw. Magnificent Nine ran on late near the inside for fourth without threatening the top three after a patient ride one from the rear. He's honest but has trouble winning. Wonderstar was tip-toeing 50m out after stretching his lead to nearly four lengths 250m out. It was a better performance following a downgrade. Aeris Nova made some ground after getting held up upon straightening until the 300m following a one-off trip from midfield. It was an OK effort on his local debut. Captain Win ran on without threatening after making his run three from the rear.
