Favourite Voyage Samurai kept on gamely after moving to the lead 250m out for a fourth win to go with three seconds from his seven starts. Silo ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from midfield. He is heading in the right direction. Star Mac dashed late near the inside for third after settling two from the rear. He was able to back up a second last start. Plunged late in betting, Prince Of Porty just failed to get up for a placing after a rails run from midfield. It was a good effort. Amazing Victory ran on nicely to just miss the frame after biding his time five back near the inside. It was a typical performance. Ching was doing his best work late to finish next best after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It wasn't a bad effort. Pray For Mir had his chance after a one-off trip with cover from better than midfield. He has found it harder in back-to-back runs following a win. Fallon got going late down the outside to finish next best after getting nearly 16 lengths back at one point.

Horse No 4 SWEET ENCOUNTER (G426) B Avdulla After travelling a short distance was bumped and became unbalanced.

Taken wider after the 350 Metres.

Horse No 5 TURIN STARSPANGLED (J209) Z Purton After the event, Z Purton stated that his mount made an respiratory noise.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of TURIN STARSPANGLED was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.

Before being allowed to race again, TURIN STARSPANGLED will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 6 PRAY FOR MIR (J245) M Chadwick From the 300 Metres until the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.

Horse No 7 FALLON (H219) Y L Chung Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping.

After travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded between PRAY FOR MIR and SWEET ENCOUNTER which was taken in by SPEED DRAGON.

Taken wider after the 350 Metres.

Y L Chung was issued with a warning for using his whip in a manner where he failed to provide his mount with an opportunity to respond to his whip use over the final 200 Metres.

Horse No 8 SILO (J399) L Ferraris Bumped at the start.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 9 STAR MAC (J053) K Teetan Bumped at the start.

After the 200 Metres improved into a narrow run between FUN TOGETHER and PRAY FOR MIR and raced tight for a short distance thereafter.

Horse No 10 PRINCE OF PORTY (H009) A Badel Bumped at the start.

After the 200 Metres was obliged to alter course to the outside of VOYAGE SAMURAI when that runner shifted out.

Horse No 11 AMAZING VICTORY (G123) C Y Ho Held up for clear running on the Home Turn and in the Home Straight was unable to obtain clear running until near the 250 Metres when held up between SPEED DRAGON and CHING.

Horse No 12 FLAGSHIP WARRIOR (G452) M L Yeung Bumped at the start.

Approaching the 350 Metres was held up for clear running behind CHING and was then shifted out to obtain clear running.

M L Yeung was advised to exercise more care.

After the event, M L Yeung reported that he was instructed to ride his mount where comfortable.

He said FLAGSHIP WARRIOR raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 900 Metres was steadied away from CHING.
