Recap by phillip woo

Floof came on nicely to get up 50m out after settling one off from midfield following a quick start from gate seven to register a first win at his seventh start following a stable change. Lucky Banner just held onto second by a lip after reclaiming the lead from Hakka Radiance 200m out. He produced another honest performance on this surface but is not a prolific winner. Forever Folks flew home late to finish a close third after making his run at the rear of the field. He has the tools to win shortly on either surface off his current mark. Excel Wongchoy came to win the race 200m out but only plugged on one paced over the final 100m travelling behind the leading pair. Hakka Radiance kept going forward after getting caught four wide on the speed to lead 1,250m out but had little left in the tank 100m out. Viva Hunter gradually faded after a prominent run wide without cover. Billionaire Secret never landed a blow travelling midfield on the fence. He acts best on top of the ground.
