Recap by phillip woo

Sugar Ball quickened nicely to take control near the 100m after a midfield run on the fence for a first win at his 10th start. Stellar Swift ran on nicely widest out for second after a making his run behind midfield and one off the fence. He should be winning a race shortly if he remains in the grade. Firming favourite Storming Dragon just won a threehorse photo for third after poking his head in front 150m out following a pace-stalking run. He has been costly without winning in five starts. Fun N Fun Together gradually faded after clearing to lead from gate 11. He should come on for the run. Run Run Timing ran on steadily to just miss the frame after a prominent run wide without cover from a tricky gate. It was a pleasing run in defeat with an inexperienced claimer atop. Pearl Of Pang's kept on a one-paced sixth after a box seat run. He has gone okay in both starts this term but is still a work in progress.
