Horse No 1 MONTA FRUTTA (H455) Y L Chung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 SOLID SHALAA (H228) K Teetan Shifted in on jumping, was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Making the turn after the 700 Metres raced tight to the inside of JOLLY COMPANION.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 FLYING DRAGON (E360) H Bowman Jumped only fairly and then was hampered when crowded between NEW POWER and ROBOT KNIGHT which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 DIAMOND FLARE (H224) E C W Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 RACINGRACE (J102) A Badel Blundered at the start and became unbalanced.
Horse No 8 SAVVY ELEGANCE (J068) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded shortly after the start.
Near the 700 Metres when racing tight to the inside of MONTA FRUTTA shifted out when reluctant to hold its position and was steadied to avoid that runner, resulting in SAVVY ELEGANCE losing ground.
Horse No 9 BEAUTY DESTINY (H281) Z Purton Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, Z Purton could offer no excuse for his mount's failure to run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 12 NEW POWER (H325) M L Yeung Near the 700 Metres was steadied when being crossed by RACINGRACE (A Badel) which shifted in when not quite clear.
A Badel was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.

Monta Frutta came with a well-timed effort to just deny early favourite Solid Shalaa after making his run two from the rear. He relished the downgrade after placing fourth on one of his three starts on the dirt in Class Three. Solid Shalaa was touched off late after working to the lead 50m out. It was a solid effort carrying top weight following a last-start win. Plunged late, Robot Knight did everything right but could get the win after working to the lead 100m out after settling wide with cover in midfield. He's caught the eye in both runs on this surface from three starts. New Power succumbed late after surging to the lead near the 200m makrer after travelling wide with cover. It was another positive showing despite a switch in surfaces. Diamond Flare kept on a one-paced fifth after vying for the early lead. High Rise Power ran on steadily without threatening after settling one off the rail behind midfield. He's still a work in progress. Following a prominent run, Beauty Destiny travelled strongly to move to the lead 350m out but weakened in the last 100m.
