Racing Incident Report
Race One : (388) - PRIMULA HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 SUPER ELITE (H247) M L Yeung Shifted out at the start and was corrected by its rider M L Yeung.
After the race, M L Yeung reported that his mount was stirred up prior to the event which he attributed to SUPER ELITE racing disappointingly today.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 BEAT HOLLOW (G414) Y L Chung Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 DAILY TROPHY (H283) H Bowman Jumped awkwardly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427) K C Leung Was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 MAGIC TRAVELLER (H102) K Teetan Crowded at the start and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 ALL IS READY (G042) L Ferraris After the race, L Ferraris reported that after being slow to begin, he was obliged to ride his mount along in the early stages, but ALL IS READY failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 FINGERS CROSSED (G403) M Chadwick A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, FINGERS CROSSED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 10 FORTUNE MASTER (D371) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
For short distance near the 400 Metres was held up for clear running behind DAILY TROPHY.
Horse No 11 PERFECT ROCK (G175) H T Mo Blundered on jumping.

Spangle Fortune responded nicely with after a prominent run wide without cover for the opening 400m to ring up a maiden win at his 16th start. He had never figured in the top five but had showed shades of improvement in two prior Class Five starts on the turf. Beat Hollow was touched off late after skipping three lengths clear upon straightening rolling forward three wide to lead 800m out from gate 11. He was able to back up a last-start win. Fortune Master just edged firming favourite Daily Trophy for third after a patient ride two from the rear. It was a good run trying the dirt after returning to form to place last time out over 1,400m. Daily Trophy ran on steadily to just miss a placing after a one-off trip with cover from behind midfield. He rarely produces a bad run on this surface. My Intelligent kept on one-paced after chasing the speed wide without cover. He should get away with a race shortly in this grade but likely on the turf proper. Magic Traveller got going late with one wider out to finish next best after settling second last from a wide draw.
