Race Seven : (211) - DUNNOTTAR CASTLE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800Meters
Horse No 1 CHILL CHIBI (H109) C L Chau Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 ESCAPE ROUTE (E273) B Avdulla From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the race, B Avdulla stated that near the 150 Metres his mount became unbalanced for a short distance when placed under pressure.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) J McDonald Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 S J TOURBILLON (G138) L Hewitson From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 7 BIG RED (H299) Z Purton After the race, Z Purton stated that his mount raced too keenly in the early and middle stages and shifted out near the 1200 Metres when being steadied away from LEAN HERO and as a consequence was unable to finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 GALLANT HERO (E480) M F Poon After the 350 Metres was checked to avoid SURUGA BAY when that runner commenced to give ground.
Horse No 9 SURUGA BAY (J022) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly.
After travelling a short distance was bumped by GALLANT HERO which shifted in and away from ROMANTIC LAOS.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Favourite Chill Chibi turned the final bend last and widest out before easily rounding up his rivals to make it four wins on the trot since his debut defeat. He is very smart, and his connections are targeting next year's Hong Kong Derby. Romantic Laos stayed on nicely for second after hitting the front 200m out. He is racing very well for his new trainer, Cody Mo Wai-kit. Frantanck grudgingly gave way after dictating the pace from gate five but held on for third. He relished returning to the course and distance of his placing two runs ago. Escape Route came from near last to add some value to the quartet. He is mixing his form but has filled the frame in two of his past three starts. Lean Hero stayed on OK after racing prominently one off the fence. He did not handle his five-point penalty. Gallant Hero made some ground from towards the rear without threatening the placegetters. It was an OK effort in a higher grade following his last-start win. Majestic Victory tamely faded over the final 200m after his pace-stalking run. Big Red did not land a blow after travelling one off the fence in midfield. He did not seem to handle rising in distance.
