Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (24) - WAN CHAI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1600Meters
REACH GOAL and SERANGOON jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
ENTRUSTED blundered on jumping and then shifted in, making contact with PAKISTAN FRIEND.
Approaching the 1400 Metres, CYBER PATCH shifted out despite the efforts of its rider, resulting in SMILING COLLECTOR being taken wider.
SMILING COLLECTOR made the turn near the 800 Metres awkwardly and got its head up.
From the 400 Metres, REACH GOAL was held up behind PAKISTAN FRIEND and did not obtain clear running until passing the 200 Metres when it shifted to the outside of PAKISTAN FRIEND to do so.
For some distance near the 100 Metres, SMILING COLLECTOR raced tight to the inside of PAKISTAN FRIEND which shifted in.
Over the final 100 Metres, GO GO SIXTEEN became held up for clear running behind FOREVER GLORIOUS and as a consequence could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.
PAKISTAN FRIEND raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, K Teetan (LOOKING COOL) reported that his mount was reluctant to proceed between runners over the concluding stages and would derive benefit from today's performance.
A veterinary inspection of LOOKING COOL immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

PAKISTAN FRIEND and LUCKY ETERNITY were sent for sampling.

Pakistan Friend defied a wide without cover trip from better than midfield to just beat firming favourite Lucky Eternity for an eighth career win. He picked up where he left off following two late season wins. Lucky Eternity weaved a run near the inside from midfield to finish a close second yet again. He's a winner waiting to happen and should get a further trip as well. Forever Glorious grudgingly gave way after getting all favours in front from the widest draw. He ran well but usually goes best over 1,800m. Reach Goal dashed well to just miss a placing after getting held up for a run until the 120m following a patient ride three from the rear. It was a good run. Entrusted ran on steadily to finish next best after a wide with cover run behind the winner from midfield. He appeared to need the run but should find his mark in this grade. President's Choice ran on without menacing after settling two from the back. Go Go Sixteen was badly held up along the inside after making his run from behind midfield. He should have finished closer.
