Racing Incident Report
Race One: (750) - WO CHE PLATE - Class GRIFFIN - 1000Meters
CHANCHENG GLORY and DASHING SUCCESS jumped awkwardly.
FLYING SHELBY was slow to begin.
On jumping, RUBY SAILING was bumped by GALLANT VALOUR which shifted in.
The performance of DASHING SUCCESS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, DASHING SUCCESS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of DASHING SUCCESS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, C Y Ho (KAHOLO ANGEL) could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance of his mount.

After chasing the speed near the stand side, odds-on favourite Ka Ying Victory kept on nicely after hitting the front 200m out for a smart win on debut. Sensationally backed, Ruby Sailing wouldn't go down without a fight after sharing the lead from gate seven. It was a solid effort on debut. Chancheng Glory ran on steadily from midfield on the far side to place without threatening the top two. He wasn't good enough to spot the top two 12 pounds each. Sonic Boom weakened over the last 100m after vying for the early lead from a middle gate. He's gone all right in both starts. Gallant Valour ran on steadily from midfield to finish next best. He's a work in progress. Kaholo Angel faded after chasing the speed on the stand side. He's disappointed in his past three starts after a smart win on debut. Debutant Flying Shelby kept on evenly from midfield. He needed the outing. Newcomer Telecom Dragon just plodded when asked for an effort from midfield near the far side.
