Race One: (740) - TUNG WAN SHAN PLATE - Class GRIFFIN - 1000Meters
OUR PRECIOUS began awkwardly and stumbled on jumping.
LEAN HERO began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped FLYING SILVER.
DASHING TRIUMPH shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of SUPERB MOVE.
When being steadied to obtain cover in the early stages, INSPIRING CITY travelled very keenly and got its head up on a number of occasions.
DASHING TRIUMPH and LUCKY BANNER were sent for sampling.

Newcomer Dashing Triumph just got the better of favourite Lucky Banner 10m out following a prominent run in the middle of the track for the win. He clearly has room for improvement and the future looks promising. Lucky Banner easily found the lead despite a sluggish start but found one just too good in the end. He's building towards a win with seconds in his past two of three starts. Happy Won stayed on reasonably well travelling better than midfield near two off the stands side. It was a pleasing run on debut and he'll certainly come on for the run. Late-fancied Forever Friends kept on one-paced pressing the pace near the far side. He went all right on debut but will need more time. Punted late Inspiring City ran on steadily to just finish out of the frame travelling midfield on the far side after a tardy break. It was an encouraging debut effort but is another still learning the ropes. Joyful Champion was retreating 100m out chasing the speed on the grandstand side. He'll need more education. Superb Move made a mild bid after making his run worse than midfield in the middle of the track. He'll need more time and a longer trip.
