Master Montaro came with a bold run from towards the rear to take control 50m out for a second win from four starts. He was able to bounce back from a disappointing run following a gear change. Horsesain Bolt closed strongly after rails run behind midfield to just edge Great Treasure for second at huge odds. It was an eye-catching run following a respiratory infection. Old-timer Great Treasure jumped out of his skin late down the outside from the rear of the field to just miss second prize. He's as honest as the day is long. Favourite Invincible Missile came up flat 50m out after surging to a narrow lead 150m out following a rails run in midfield. The Crown made up heaps of ground late near the inside after finding the fence behind midfield from a wide gate. He's made a good impression in two of his three starts and can bob up at any moment.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (427) - GREAT PROFITS HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

TELECOM CHEETAH was slow to begin.

HORSESAIN BOLT and YO BEAUTY bumped heavily at the start, causing both horses to become unbalanced.

TRUE LEGEND shifted out at the start and bumped THE CROWN.

Then from a wide barrier, THE CROWN was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

MASTER MONTARO got its head up on jumping when being steadied to obtain cover.

From a wide barrier, GREAT TREASURE was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

A short distance after the start, BAY TIBBS shifted out, resulting in SUPER DYNAMITE being taken out and bumping TURQUOISE ALPHA which shifted in after initially being directed in by BEAUTY LEGACY.

This resulted in TURQUOISE ALPHA becoming unbalanced.

Passing the 750 Metres, CRAIG'S STAR was left racing wide and without cover.

INVINCIBLE MISSILE and HORSESAIN BOLT had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.

TURQUOISE ALPHA was held up for clear running at the 400 Metres and then passing the 400 Metres momentarily raced in restricted room when continuing to be held up and racing tight between INVINCIBLE MISSILE and CRAIG'S STAR.

THE CROWN, which was following TURQUOISE ALPHA and was held up for clear running, was steadied away from the heels of TURQUOISE ALPHA in consequence when racing tight between that horse and HORSESAIN BOLT which shifted out marginally.

THE CROWN continued to have difficulty obtaining clear running until passing the 100 Metres at which stage it was shifted to the inside of HORSESAIN BOLT.

THE CROWN was then unable to obtain clear running until the concluding stages and consequently was not able to be properly tested.

BAY TIBBS was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight when awkwardly placed behind CRAIG'S STAR and then after being shifted to the outside of CRAIG'S STAR near the 300 Metres shifted in abruptly towards the heels of that horse, resulting in BAY TIBBS having to be directed out away from the heels of CRAIG'S STAR.

Passing the 300 Metres, GREAT TREASURE was shifted out away from the heels of MASTER MONTARO which shifted out under pressure.

Passing the 150 Metres, HORSESAIN BOLT was shifted out away from the heels of HIGHLY PROACTIVE to obtain clear running.

After the race, B Shinn reported that BEAUTY LEGACY became unbalanced of its own accord approaching the 200 Metres.

A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY LEGACY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

INVINCIBLE MISSILE, MASTER MONTARO and HORSESAIN BOLT were sent for sampling.
