Recap by phillip woo
Raging favourite Sky Field came from near last after a sluggish start to run down Keep You Warm 100m out for a third straight win from five starts. He did enough to get the win and the future remains very bright. Keep You Warm wouldn't go down without a fight after reclaiming the lead from Hongkong Great rounding the final bend following a oneoff run. The three-year-old showed progress after a stable change late last season and appears to have benefited from the break. Punted late Take What You Need only held his ground following a box-seat run. He's honest but has trouble winning. High Rise Soldier made only a mild bid following a one-off run in a handy spot. He was on the verge of breaking through last season and appeared to need this run. Master Albert made some ground without menacing from the back. He rarely produces a bad run but does appear from his three starts this term to be on his mark.
