Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (388)-HUNG TO HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Metres
HIGH AND MIGHTY was slow to begin and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.LOVE SHOCK shifted out at the start and bumped GREEN CARD.
A short distance later, LOVE SHOCK, GREEN CARD and DIVINE BOY lost ground when crowded for room between FABULOUS NOVEMBER and BACK IN BLACK which shifted out abruptly despite the considerable efforts of its rider to prevent it from shifting ground.
Shortly after the start, SECRET COMMAND was hampered when steadied away from the heels of FABULOUS NOVEMBER which shifted out.
From a wide barrier, LUCKY DAY was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
FABULOUS NOVEMBER lost its right hind plate near the 900 Metres.
Approaching and passing the 800 Metres, FABULOUS NOVEMBER travelled keenly.
After the 700 Metres, GREEN CARD commenced to prove difficult to settle and got its head up for some distance when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FABULOUS NOVEMBER.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, FABULOUS NOVEMBER raced tight between HAPPY YEAH YEAH and BACK IN BLACK which shifted out marginally.
Throughout the race, HAPPY YEAH YEAH travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, B Prebble reported that passing the 700 Metres HIGH AND MIGHTY became momentarily unbalanced in its action.
CHARITY JOY and LOVE SHOCK were sent for sampling.

Charity Joy assumed the lead after stalking the speed at the 150m and just held off the late rush of raging favourite Love Shock by a whisker for the win. He sprints well over this course but will find things harder in Class Two. Love Shock got his momentum going inside the final 200m following a rail's run in midfield to just miss. He was likely further back than he would have liked after crowding at the start and remains a sprinter to follow at both tracks. Divine Boy closed off well after travelling third from the rear to snatch a placing. The drop into mixed company over his favourite course and distance was the key to a revived run. Hella Hedge was stopping badly in the last 50m after a quick start from a tricky gate to enjoy an uncontested lead. He's near a bottom. Back In Black was cruising along nicely behind the leader but only held his ground when push came to shove. It was a disappointing performance and he may need to drop further in the handicaps. Secret Command was running on late without menacing from beyond midfield. He'll be better suited in a 60-80 band race over this Valley trip.
