Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (632)-LONGCHAMP RACECOURSE HANDICAP (Sec2) - Class 3 - 1650Metres
CHOICE TREASURE was slow to begin.From the outside barrier, TURBO JEWELLERY was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, BEAUTY LEAD and STARTING OVER raced tight.
Near the 650 Metres, TOP ACE shifted out and bumped TURBO JEWELLERY which was taken wider.
From the 600 Metres, SUPREME ESSENCE was checked and lost ground when taken back through the field by RISING FAST which gave ground abruptly before finishing tailed out.
A veterinary inspection of RISING FAST immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of RISING FAST was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, RISING FAST will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
At the entrance to the Straight, STARTING OVER was shifted in away from the heels of SPEEDY LONGWAH.
Near the 300 Metres, BEAUTY LEAD shifted in abruptly before being corrected by its rider.
Approaching the 250 Metres, SUPREME ESSENCE was shifted out away from the heels of CHATER LEGEND which was awkwardly placed outside SPEEDY LONGWAH.
In the Straight, TURBO JEWELLERY shifted out under pressure.
Throughout the race, SPEEDY LONGWAH travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of FIRST SIGHT LOVE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
SPEEDY LONGWAH, STARTING OVER and SUPREME ESSENCE were sent for sampling.

Starting Over settled worse than midfield and one off the rails, moved to midfield entering the straight three deep, worked to the lead while dropping to the fence at the 200m and kept on gamely to land a betting plunge. He loved the sting out of the ground. Supreme Essence was handy in the run one off the rails, got checked back to near last by the stopping Rising Fast, shifted off the heels of Chater Legend six deep at the 200m and got up a clear second. He also relished the wet. Favourite Speedy Longwah was caught three deep on the speed without cover from a wide gate, worked to the front at the 500m and kept on surprisingly well to just hold Chater Legend by a whisker for a placing. Chater Legend enjoyed a soft run along the rails in fourth, straightened near four deep and just missed a placing. Turbo Jewellery never got closer than four deep without cover from a wide gate behind midfield, circled the field to get to third coming to the final bend and plugged on gamely to just miss the frame. Beauty Lead settled three deep with cover behind midfield, rounded the final bend four from the right and made some ground. Business As Usual held the fence on the lead and was headed coming to the final bend. First Sight Love travelled at the back and was struggling 200m out.
