Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (631)-THE FRANCE GALOP CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Metres
FLYING TOURBILLON began only fairly.ANIMATION MASTER began awkwardly.
From wide barriers, HONG KONG DANCER and PAKISTAN BABY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
BRIGHT STAR got its head up shortly after the start when being steadied to obtain cover and then making the first turn near the 1050 Metres stumbled.
A short distance later, BRIGHT STAR was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of SHINING CHAMPION and tight outside PEARL WIN which shifted out marginally away from the heels of HELLA HEDGE.
Despite being vigorously ridden in the early stages, THE PRINCE failed to muster speed and for the majority of the race travelled wide and without cover.
Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres, COUR VALANT got its head on the side and lay out.
COUR VALANT then continued to lay out for some distance.
CAGA FORCE lost its right front plate near the 800 Metres.
PEARL WIN lost its right front plate in the middle stages.
Near the 450 Metres, ANIMATION MASTER shifted out and bumped PAKISTAN BABY.
Rounding the Home Turn, FLYING TOURBILLON was unable to improve when held up for running behind PEARL WIN.
Over about the final 200 Metres, PAKISTAN BABY got its head on the side and shifted in under pressure.
In the Straight, BRIGHT STAR was inclined to lay out.
A veterinary inspection of COUR VALANT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
A veterinary inspection of THE PRINCE, SHINING CHAMPION and PEARL WIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SHINING CHAMPION, PAKISTAN BABY and CAGA FORCE were sent for sampling.

Pakistan Baby dropped out back from a wide gate, started to make his move at the 500m, straightened with one wider out and finishing willingly despite hanging under pressure to overhaul Caga Force in the shadows of the post for a second win from his past three starts. He's got room to head higher. Caga Force found the front from gate six, cornered a length on top and went down fighting. Hong Kong Dancer bided his time second from the rear along the inside, cornered one off the fence and just outfinished Flying Tourbillon for a placing. Flying Tourbillon travelled third from the rear and one off the rails, angled into the clear with three wider out at the 250m and finished willingly to add further value to the Quartet. Hella Hedge eased back to hold a box-seat position, straightened one off the fence and was giving ground 100m out. Cour Valant made only a mild bid three deep following a rail's run just beyond midfield. Shining Champion only held his ground following a handy run one off the fence. Bright Star was posted three deep with cover worse than midfield, swung the final bend with two wider out and only held his ground when asked for a response. Punted late, Pearl Win came up one-paced four deep over the final 200m following a midfield run near the rails.
