Top Score can continue his terrific form at Happy Valley and ring up another win for Zac Purton in the Class Four Sports Cup Diamond Jubilee Challenge Cup (1,200m) on Wednesday night.

The Francis Lui Kin-wai-trained five-year-old was inconsistent during his first six runs of the season – all at Sha Tin – but a switch to the city track has seen him turn the corner.

In April, he stormed over the top of Leisured Feet and Bingo to notch his maiden Hong Kong victory and last start he flashed home to finish second to Nice Fandango in a race dominated by the leaders.

He possesses a big finish and his final 400m sectionals were clearly the fastest in both races.

This is his third start at this course and distance and he looks set to keep rising up the ratings.

From the inside alley and with a moderate pace expected, Purton should be able to settle Top Score much closer in running, meaning he will only need a bit of luck to launch his customary finishing burst and run over the top of his rivals.

He just gets the edge over Peace N Prosperity who also gets the benefit of a good draw.

Manfred Man Ka-leung’s six-year-old – a Class Two winner at this course and distance in January 2016 – was narrowly beaten by Good For You last start and looks set to be in the finish again.

Peace N Prosperity has had three runs since dropping down to Class Four, placing in two of them, but had to overcome wide barriers in all of them.

Neil Callan should be able to settle just behind the speed, which likely to be set by Master Viking (Victor Wong Chun) and Formula Galore (Vincent Ho Chak-yiu), before letting down in the straight.

Top Score and Peace N Prosperity have a class edge over the others and with both landing good barriers on the A course, they look the probable quinella.

Others to include in the multiples are Derek Cruz’s Applause (Matthew Chadwick), who was just behind Peace N Prosperity last start but has a worse draw, the Tony Millard-trained Master Viking and Dr Race (Alberto Sanna), from the David Ferraris stable.
