Race Five : (329) - GREAT GEORGE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 HAPPY FAT CAT (G166) Y L Chung Jumped awkwardly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 EASY SNIP (G211) K Teetan From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 GALLANT VALOUR (H323) B Avdulla Near the 1050 Metres became unbalanced when it shifted in and away from KING INVINCIBLE and was positioned close to the running rail.
In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out.
Near the 100 Metres shifted in and away from SUPER ELITE, resulting in its rider B Avdulla having to stop riding and straighten his mount which resulted in GALLANT VALOUR not being able to be fully ridden out to the finish of the event.
Horse No 6 LYRICAL MOTION (G081) E C W Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 SIGHT VICTORY (H378) A Atzeni From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 HEARTY WISH (E343) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 9 HERO STAR (D033) M Chadwick Over the concluding stages was steadied away from GALLANT VALOUR.
Horse No 10 KING INVINCIBLE (H199) K C Leung Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start.
Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of GOLD TACK and could not be ridden out to the finish.
Horse No 11 SUPER EAGLE (G408) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 SUPER ELITE (H247) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

After a rail run in midfield, firming favourite Lyrical Motion took control 150m out to ring up a second straight win and first with the claimer on board. He's in good form this season and can win again. Super Eagle found one too good yet again for a fourth straight run after a one-off trip better than midfield. He deserves a win. Gallant Valour caught a second wind after a prominent run on the fence to take third. It was a good showing. Gold Tack ran on well for fourth without threatening the top three after a patient ride third last from a tricky gate. It was a good run resuming for his new trainer. Sight Victory ran on nicely but just missed the frame after making his run second last from gate 12. It was clearly his best run from four starts. Easy Snip settled last from gate 11 and ran on well near the inside but left things too late. He's one to follow from a better draw. Following a pace-prompting run from a tricky gate, Hero Star took the lead from Happy Fat Cat 250m out but was stopping in the closing stages. Joy Coming made a decent late bid after settling one off the fence behind midfield. He's finding it hard off his current mark.
