Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (833) - THE HONG KONG RACEHORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 1 - 1600Meters
FANTASTIC TREASURE and EXCELLENT PROPOSAL bumped at the start.
MIGHTY GIANT began only fairly and then was crowded for room inside TURIN REDSUN which was bumped by MONEY CATCHER which on jumping bumped the inside of its gate and began awkwardly.
BOURBONAIRE shifted in abruptly at the start and hampered CALIFORNIA TEN and CELESTIAL POWER.
CHAMPION'S WAY and SAVVY NINE were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
CALIFORNIA TEN lost its right hind plate in the early stages.
BOURBONAIRE raced keenly after the 1100 Metres.
TURIN REDSUN and MONEY CATCHER raced tight passing the 100 Metres.
In the Straight, TURIN REDSUN lay in.
A veterinary inspection of CHAMPION'S WAY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TURIN REDSUN and MONEY CATCHER were sent for sampling.

Favourite Turin Redsun just wore down Money Catcher after getting a lovely run prominent along the fence by Zac Purton for a first win at his eight starts. The win was well deserved after a very unlucky second last time out. Punted late Money Catcher did everything right but get the win after shooting for home on top rounding the final bend following a pace-staking run. He clearly is a winner waiting to happen. Bourbonaire came up one-paced to finish next best without threatening the top two after slotting oneoff with cover in third 1,100m out. It was another pleasing run after copping an 11-point penalty for a win last start. Excellent Proposal got up late to fill the frame after a one-off trip in midfield. He has proven costly for punters all season long. Celestial Power peaked on his run 100m out after making his run five back on the fence. He hasn't been the same horse in his past three runs off a lengthy-break following back-to-back wins.
